Leading Firm Meets Production Requirements within Final Hours

Ignited Discovery processes over 475,000 TIFF images in less than 5 hours through the use of their Grid Computing architecture -- providing their client with ample time to meet production deadline.

Problem

A top 10 DC law firm contacted Ignited Discovery at approximately 10:30 AM on a Thursday morning with a high priority production request. The client's agreement with opposing counsel had stated that each side was to produce OCR text along with all of the TIFF images. The production was due in Chicago the following day and approximately 475,000 TIFF images still required OCR text.

Solution

Ignited gladly accepted the challenge. Utilizing its grid computing network, the team at Ignited was able to import the TIFF images while several machines simultaneously began performing OCR on the images located on a centralized production server.

Within 6 hours, all documents had been processed and exported to media for delivery. The client was also given ample time to re-label the production and get them safely to FedEx for overnight delivery to Chicago. Ignited has since added several processing nodes to its grid system, dramatically increasing its capacity to handle well-over the requirements of this project.
