ARLINGTON, VA - Artomatic – the month-long Washington, D.C. art festival – celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2009, and Ignited Discovery is proud to have been named the official tech sponsor of the event. Artomatic played host to over 1,600 aspiring artists this year, their unique works taking up residence in vacant office space throughout Washington, DC. A collaborative of partners donated the building space, and nearly 70,000 people came in to view the free 10th anniversary show.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Ignited Discovery swept the 2009 Lawyers Have Heart 10k race this June, with over 50 participants attending on behalf of the company. Wearing custom dri-fit shirts with the striking company logo, Ignited Discovery friends, family and staff made a huge splash and raised over $2,000 for the American Heart Association in the process.

Local eDiscovery professionals meet for a casual get-together on the second Wednesday of every month – and as the group says, the bar is cash and there are no dues. ARLINGTON, VA -- After designing a second-generation grid system around a virtualized environment, Ignited Discovery was able to significantly scale back its server needs – cutting down on power and cooling requirements on site. And while the new grid system significantly improved processing speed, it also freed up a total of two full Verari Blade racks. Ignited Discovery donated those servers – a total of 176 – to a local nonprofit called First Time Computers.

BlueARC is a leading manufacturer of intelligent file management platforms, and each Titan 3100 can manage up to 2 petabytes of data. Scalability and growth are top priorities, so the ability to quickly expand storage by adding disk trays without any system down time is critical, especially since Ignited already manages over 100 terabytes of data, and growing.

Ignited Discovery recently partnered with Workspaces LLC in Washington, D.C. for a complete redesign and update of our facilities. After months of hard work, we’ve replaced all of the existing furniture with clean, modern designs from Inscape and Dauphin, as well as a few custom pieces by 3form.

ARLINGTON -- Ignited Discovery is proud to announce the completion of a comprehensive security upgrade at our facilities. Working closely with Secom, LLC of Washington, D.C., we have completely overhauled our forensic lab and security systems – enabling even greater levels of protection for the sensitive information delivered by clients daily. Our lab is now outfitted with fire-proof data safes providing over 15 cubic-feet of storage and an array of individually lockable file cabinets and drawers.
