ARLINGTON, VA - Artomatic – the month-long Washington, D.C. art festival – celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2009, and Ignited Discovery is proud to have been named the official tech sponsor of the event. Artomatic played host to over 1,600 aspiring artists this year, their unique works taking up residence in vacant office space throughout Washington, DC. A collaborative of partners donated the building space, and nearly 70,000 people came in to view the free 10th anniversary show.
ARLINGTON, VA -- Ignited Discovery swept the 2009 Lawyers Have Heart 10k race this June, with over 50 participants attending on behalf of the company. Wearing custom dri-fit shirts with the striking company logo, Ignited Discovery friends, family and staff made a huge splash and raised over $2,000 for the American Heart Association in the process.

ARLINGTON, VA -- After designing a second-generation grid system around a virtualized environment, Ignited Discovery was able to significantly scale back its server needs – cutting down on power and cooling requirements on site. And while the new grid system significantly improved processing speed, it also freed up a total of two full Verari Blade racks. Ignited Discovery donated those servers – a total of 176 – to a local nonprofit called First Time Computers.
